Clairol Root Touch-Up - any tips?

I've had salon highlights (blonde) for many years but am tired of the cost and slightly darker roots. I bought this Nice'nEasy product today and am strangely nervous about using it! The instructions seem very straightforward - I'll do a sample test this evening - any hints? TIA.

I bought it many moons ago when it first came on the market and paid the introductory price for it. I have not bought it since. I tend to touch my roots up with my normal colour and dispose of the remaining product.

I think that the so called of the shelf products have improved a lot of the last few years, they are no longer the block colour they once were. The money I'm saving goes straight to the shoe fund. I think the important thing is to make sure that you get a good cut, before colouring at home.

My guess is that once you have done it you will not look back. Think Shoe Fund!

That sounds highly motivational to me, MFC!!

I've been using these for ages, in between colour sessions at the hairdressers. They are fine and have never had any problems. A lot cheaper than using the hairdressers.

Yes, we'll worth the money. Allows you to spread your visits to the hairdressers out by at least 4 weeks.

Excellent! Really appreciate all your advice.

Just 'done' roots - delighted with the results - yay!
