Genuine question for wearers of skinny jeans

Do you like how you look in them? I keep thinking I'll give them a go but I just think I look really bad in them. I'm a fairly average size 10 and plenty of women bigger than me seem to getting away with them, although I do have chunky calves so perhaps that's my problem.

But really, is this an emperor's new clothes thing or does everyone else just really like the way they make their body look?

I am genuinely interested - not slating your fashion choice.

I'm a 10/12 and skinnies are definitely not the most flattering jeans on me imo. I do wear them with knee-high boots though, and at a push, insanely high shoes. I wouldn't wear them with pumps, converse or any flats cos it just isn't the best look for me.

I see lots of people wearing skinnies who don't suit them (imo) and that includes men, but in general, I'm a fan of people wearing what they feel comfy in/what they like so as long as they're happy ...

I'm 5ft and size 8. I like how I look in them. Often wear tucked into heeled mid boots or ankle boots. Much more flattering on me than voluminous trousers or jeans. I pair with cashmere sweaters or t-shirts and open front loose cardigans.
In summer I wear with low wedge heeled sandals and a casual blouses or a striped T-shirt.

No I don't like how they look on me
I am 5ft 3
50kgs
Curvy petite I guess
I just always feel I look strange in them...
And ....sorry but I find very few people look good in them.

I thought I'd never wear them but now have two pairs and just about live in them at weekends. I'm a shortie and a size 12. I currently wear them with heeled ankle boots, a longline top and a leather jacket. I don't think I'll wear them if the weather ever gets warmer as I feel they need the ankle boots to balance them. The pair I bought most recently were called 'treggings' in M&S (shudder) but they really are insanely flattering. A total stranger stopped me in the street a few weeks ago to say how 'elegant' I looked (things like that never, ever happen to me so I was v pleased :) ).
