lol kipling bags with named monkeys.yuk
this is wanky,he hangs off your bag like a long streak of piss

Claire Sutton is the type of person I'd avoid like the plague at the school gates. She's so simper-ey and "Oh I'm so lovely and girlie girlie" it makes me wince.

But , I've read some of her blogs. She's got 2DS and a DD. Her eldest was born with Downs Syndrome and she writes quite honestly about life with her son, her hopes and dreams for him.

She's still simper-ey and girley though Wink

LimeLeafLizard · 21/04/2012 22:30

Ha ha at this thread. I watch far too much qvc have occasionally been known to flick past QVC.

I quite like the kipling bags - all the different compartments are v useful. But I take the monkeys off first and give them to the DC.

Most of the clothing is awful but some of the beauty products are good. Somewhat overpriced, but good.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/04/2012 22:36

I like the beauty product shows because I don't like going into a shop to browse or worse, have someone at a make-up counter trying to spray me or try out make-up or skin care.
I can watch the demo over and over.
And I'd no idea some of these products existed.

I quite like the clothes and at the moments I've got 4 Centigrade coats .
Also love the Quacker Factory Christmas stuff too. Blush

cybbo · 21/04/2012 22:40

Kim talks like this. Without stopping

"Now we are seeing this skirt coming through in the cobalt dove grey AND mushroom the mushroom being the colour MOST qualtified as a neutral the neutrals coming though this season and matching PERFECTLY with the hues found on the slit shouldered blouse top worn by Jenny and becoming a transistional piece for EVERY womans wardrobe"

ie total bollocks

cybbo · 21/04/2012 22:41

And Pippa's ears are always bright pink

And Julia is the 'senior presenter' which means she shoulder barges all the other gals out of the way down the corridor

And whats with Alison Young?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/04/2012 23:01

Well actually she's a professional beauty expert for you actually with over 4000 years of experience in high end spas like Ragdale Hall actually (or some such other spa).(That's how she taks BTW - actually, for you and "90% sold out. Well if it's 90% it isn't sold out is it) ,,sigh..
She claims to use all these products every day (which would be a physical impossibility) the number of products that she champions.

She's wearing (I hope) a dodgy wig tonight. Otherwise her hair looks a bit nyloney.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/04/2012 23:03

I want Paul Lavers back for Christmas In July.

Will tie myself nekkid to the gates at QVC Towers until my demands are met.

TerraNotSoFirma · 22/04/2012 00:22

A question for you ladies who watch qvc regularly.

You know the dark haired woman from L'Occitane? She wears lovely silver bangles on almost every show, Does anyone recognise them? I love them, Where can I get some?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/04/2012 00:48

She's called Alexis.
Why not email them and ask QVC to ask her.

Haven't noticed the bangles TBH. But I love L'Occitane.

FlameProofNightie · 22/04/2012 10:02

After reading this I feel the need to check out TSV.... I buy Elemis from there and occasionally Decleor. And have been known to buy Lola Rose but only the tumble bracelets.

I greatly enjoy the kirks Folly thing where she blows some sparkly dust stuff.

LimeLeafLizard · 22/04/2012 10:10

Ah Alexis, yes. She irritates me, I can't put my finger on why, but it is annoying as I quite like l'Occitane and she puts me off watching. I have the same problem with the simperingly slim and pretty girl who presents the Kipling stuff although that is because DH fancies her.

The best shows are probably the ones that are laughable, like Kirks Folly and Uri Geller. When everything on the real channels is too depressing, that sparkle dust crap gives me a good laugh!

TerraNotSoFirma · 23/04/2012 18:24

Yes Alexis irritates me also, But I do like her bangles!

I will email customer services. (But I bet they won't tell me if bangles turn out to be non qvc ones)
