I'm sat here with eye watering after trying yet another eye make up remover which my eyes don't like. I don't seem to get on with the ones you have to shake together before you use them. Also I don't like cream removers.

Anyone got any reccomendations. Don't really care about budget, just want something that doesn't hurt.

I've just used bioderma for the first time after seeing Lisa Eldridge reccomend it and I love it. It feels like water, no oil, no smell, no stinging eyes and my makeup just slid off. I don't think you can normally get it in the uk but I got mine from Amazon it was £20 but it's a massive bottle.

Mombojombo · 21/04/2012 08:34

Vaseline? Only thing that doesn't sting my eyes - bit claggy sometimes though.

crazyaccountant · 21/04/2012 08:36

Gatineau floracil, not the cheapest but excellent stuff buy it from QVC then you have 30 days to return it for full refund if it doesn't suit you!

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/04/2012 09:16

Always used lancome but have recently changed to simple after recommendations on here. Very impressed - gentle and thorough and cheap!

amistillsexy · 21/04/2012 09:18

My eyes sting with lots of eye make up removers, and I try to always use 'natural' products, but in this case, the only one I've found is Nivea Visage. It's cheap (ish-about a fiver), non-creamy, and you can get it in the supermarket!

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/04/2012 09:19

Baby oil. Gets it all off and doesnt give me styes.

I put a drop on my fingertip and massage it in, then I wipe away with a tissue loo roll.

There are very few my skin can tolerate, but these products are OK for me

Lush Ultrabland, removed with the Eau Roma toner or just a bit of cotton wool and warm water is one of the few ways my sensitive skin will tolerate. Vaseline also works like this for me

Also Boots Botanics do one, can't remember what it is called, but it has a water layer and an oil layer, you have to shake it together.

I use a washcloth that removes eye make up. Before that always Lancôme bifacils (sp?)

IDontWannaBeAStupidGirl · 21/04/2012 09:29

Simple makeup remover wipes are brilliant - not just for eye makeup. They are quick and effective. No excuse for going to bed in my makeup now!

anniewoo · 21/04/2012 10:01

Garnier- simply brilliant . Doesn't sting. Though I don't use waterproof mascara.

I second the simple eye make up wipes! They are fab & so easy to use.

suebfg · 21/04/2012 15:56

Try Simple eye make up remover - clear liquid - always winning awards and good for sensitive eyes

rednose · 21/04/2012 16:06

As reccommended by another mumnetter I bought Oil of Olay eye make-up remover which is cheaper than most and it really works well

whereismywine · 21/04/2012 16:22

Pervonia is lovely, doesnt sting, isn't oily and shifts the most stubborn of mascaras.

blondiedollface · 21/04/2012 16:26

I find the Body Shop camomile eye make up remover SO efficient, it stings a little if you get it in your eyes but apart from that I find it kind and gentle on the soft skin around my eyes :)

Oh, and it's pretty cheap Grin

MousyMouse · 21/04/2012 16:34

cotton pad and bodylotion. cheap and effective.

40notTrendy · 21/04/2012 16:43

I bought the Boots botanics one after seeing it recommended on here. It's the half/ half one. Works well, no stinging. I also use Simple wipes, but find them a bit harsh round my eyes.

ENormaSnob · 21/04/2012 16:50

Boots own brand remover pads.

In a pale blue small tub with darker blue lid. About £1.39.

EllenParsons · 21/04/2012 21:21

Clinique Take The Day Off is my favourite. Some supposedly gentle ones like Body Shop camomile stung my eyes :(

MeDented · 21/04/2012 21:28

I second the Simple eye makeup remover liquid. I have really sensitive eyes too and hate anything creamy / greasy. Simple is fab.

flowwithit · 21/04/2012 21:31

I use Clinique take the day off lotion with muslin cloth or simple wipes both are non perfumed and gentle.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 21/04/2012 22:03

Both Simple and the Body Shop camomile one sting my eyelids. Unfortunately it's a bit of trial and error.

CointreauVersial · 21/04/2012 22:10

Boots own brand (I think it's called Essentials) do a fantastic Cucumber EMUR; it's like a runny gel, and is really gentle and soothing. And cheap as chips (less than £1.50 for a big bottle).

I think ENormaSnob's pads are in the same range.
