I am a size 16 and medium of norkage.

Apple shaped so no super fitted waist wanted.

Ideally want an ivory Breton with thin navy stripes.

Prepared to invest!

No iron would be a bonus as am a lazy minge.

I love Aubin&Wills cotton bretons myself, but they can be a bit pricey. Toast also make really good quality bretons too (organic cotton usually) if you are ok with the higher-than-highstreet pricetag.
A word about Armor Lux tops: they come up really short in the body. I am only 5'4inches tall but they barely cover my hips. Fab quality though.

My Toast breton is almost 5 yrs old and looks as good as new. Good length, and sizing is generous.

Oooh, let us know what the seasalt one is like? Bacause I'm tempted to buy it now Smile.

JoyceDivision I don't have any experience myself, but my mum & friend both say FC sizing is very small, so
I'm guessing xl is probably 16.

Oasis breton is really lovely, beautiful thick cotton but background is more ecru than it looks in the photo. And size down.

ah, think I'll avoid FC then as I suspect their tops will stretch over my chest and tummy and make me look a bugger!

O.k. Well the Boden skirt was returned. The length was good for me as a maxi but if you are taller than 5'4 than it won't be a true maxi. The skirt was a pull on type so no issues with the waistband. However, the material was lightweight and so the skirt looked cheap - the sort you can see your knickerline through as well as every lump and bump

The Seasalt Breton is a keeper. Really nice wide slash neck and not sheer. Very soft and a good length .

Thank - you for the great tip.
