Depends on the dress, your legs and what you'll be wearing with it IMO, but if you're worried you'll feel uncomfortable I wouldn't wear as it'll be a long day if you're constantly tugging at your skirt Wink

I like the debenhams one and the ASOS grey one you linked to notyummy thanks.

I already have the Wallis one youareworthit its a really nice dress, I'm definitely keeping it even if its not for this wedding.

I think I need to set some time aside to go and actually try lots of dresses on, I very rarely wear them so always find dress shopping tricky. Sending stuff back is a pain.

Peanut if it makes you feel any better my choice of dress is very similar to this

I thought the style would be nice for a wedding, it's just above my knee and I'm 5'10.

I think it depends on the venue - looks trashy to be wearing a short dress in a church!

This is an old thread

I searched "short wedding dress", was thinking about them and wondering what other people thought...
Then this came up and as someone who's been in a church choir for years, inappropriate church attire is a bit of a pet peeve!
.. Didn't notice the date!

I really wish MN would make zombie threads a bit more obvious. Maybe they could be a different colour after six months of nobody commenting on them - I say that, with absolutely no clue if that would even be possible from an IT perspective though.

It's quite confusing when zombie threads pop up randomly.
