Never underestimate the power of a bit of lippy

My Mum taught me everything I know ( expensive skin care & lippy habit )! She is 88 & very frail & over the last few years has not cared about any of this. She went into a care home 3 weeks ago & the change is marvelous. Cue to today, she has rifled my Lipstick Queen shade ( a tasteful nude ) and my BM blusher.

After I applied them she was like a new woman, gone was the depressed, sad Mum and back was the woman I knew of old. I direct you to the subject title. For anyone one who says this doesn't matter, speak to her.

This is a really lovely post Smile
I've had a tough year myself and am now coming out the other side. Throughout the past 12 months, I've still got up everyday and put my lippy and blusher on. Soemtimes it was the only thing that kept me feeling like me. OP, your title post says it all Grin
