I really hate that I had my hair cut short. Does anyone have any crazy ideas about what I can do to make it grow Hmm?

I use my hair to hide behind Blush.

I have been thinking about getting a tinted moisturise but don't have a clue how to go about chosing one. Ideas would be great, thank you.

Exercise where to start, well what I did was leave the car at school when I was a stay at home mum. I would drive the DC's in and then walk home knowing I'd have to walk back to pick them up what ever the weather.
The I built up to making the DC's walk in and back again so that was 4 times the school run for me.
Now I walk to school in gym stuff, drop DC's and baby and I run the long long way home. I do the shred whilst the baby naps, that's not negotiable.

I bought a mini stair stepper, a very cheap and uncomplicated little thing and I watch tv while stepping. I dragged it over to the mantelpiece for a week once so that I could finish reading Bleak House, propping the book. I also walk as often as I can, just around the block a few times in the evening (running wears me out and I feel stupid struggling along while others whizz past me barely breaking a sweat).

I have a Boots tinted moisturiser in the palest shade they had as my skin is very pale.

We have got loads in common judging from your user name and hair woes. I too feel old and fat and ugly. Tried hair extensions both weaved and glued but to be honest they are not a magic cure and not worth the hassle and expense. Now that Easter is well and truly out of the way lets really go for it on the diet- hair would be so less important if we were thin - and always get your nails done/wear make up/ false eyelashes etc. I think forcing oneself to make the effort raises self confidence and breeds weight loss success. Good luck x

Morning all Smile.

(Just heard ds2 ask dd for a round of applause as he has "washed his bum." )

Just showered and washed my hair. I have actually brushed my hair while damp so hopefully it will look less messy. I have to go out soon to get the kids some shoes so will park as far away as possible to get some walking in and then take them for another walk after lunch. I plan to go on the wii as well.

Go you!

We are back with just the one pair of school shoes.

Didn't make it to Boots for the tinted moisturiser as ds1 is clearly in training to be a teenager Hmm.

Just had crackers and houmous for breakfast and now cracking on with jobs. Houseowrk, what joy!
