Come on, someone must be on to discuss overpriced bags and shoes.

I have a bank statement to reconcile and need to procrastinate as much as possible.

Never buy Vogue. Full of things I want but can't afford. Grr.

Anyway, am off out to tendy place tonight. What should I wear?

Enid · 08/02/2006 10:11

I have it and have read it

Kate Moss --- looks shite doesnt she

Enid · 08/02/2006 10:11

none of the clothes 'apply' to me however as am a great big biffer

oliveoil · 08/02/2006 10:12

No I don't buy it apart from when they place prominent adverts in The Times when I am half cut of an evening feeling like a swamp monster surrounded by crisps . Pah.

I am not trendy at all and live in jeans, hence the mag purchase.

I love dresses myself for any going out occasions, with good shoes.

I love Kate Moss.

Enid - you are allowed to be a biffer when pg. You can still buy bags...........

I'm debating between nice wrap dress and very high heels or trendy grey jeans with victorian style blouse or lovely sexy fitted charcoal short sleeved polo neck.

Whadya think?

Enid · 08/02/2006 10:18

I would do the jeans and the blouse (except I have tried those blouses and they make me look like Emma Thompson so I would end up with the fitted charcoal polo neck and lonnnnnnnnnnng necklace probably)

oliveoil · 08/02/2006 10:19

Dress and heels for moi.

Polo necks make me itch.

I did read that victorian blouses are over and that puff sleeve ones are now 'in' but I take rules with a pinch of salt, I like my frilly shirts.

Will this trendy place be full of young people? I always feel 67 when I go out now.

bogtteg veneta adverts making me swoon

northerner · 08/02/2006 10:24

I am liking te pole neck, have some lovely beads that would go.

Dont say Victorian blouses are out though. I only just bought it. I love it but dh is not convinced.

It will be full of youngsters

mazzystar · 08/02/2006 10:29

northerner
-remember polo neck and boobs rule should it apply.
-i reckon blouses still allowed, especially if white and worn casual

oliveoil · 08/02/2006 10:30

dh doesn't like mine either...IGNORE

I like long beads too

Bottega Veneta...white dress.....

Have to go and do some work now, wish it was my money I was reconciling!

am hoping wide black trousers and heels (yes I know yawn.............) and a stripy navy and white tunic top will cut it at a party in London on Sunday [anxious emoticon]

northerner · 08/02/2006 10:30

Yes, blouse is white and very sheer.

What's the polo neck and boobs rule? Do you mean no big norks?

mazzystar · 08/02/2006 10:32

enid - should be ok as is nautical

big tits+polo neck = boob shelf, see trin and suze p322

oliveoil · 08/02/2006 10:33
