Are there any good tooth whiteners about that are suitable for using on sensitive teeth ? Mine are a nightmare with their sensitivity and I currently use the Colgate Pro-Argin whitening one, but am after a more dramatic change that doesn't cost the earth.

Any suggestions ? Thanks x

My problem is coffee stains. I drink far too much of the stuff. I brush with a toothpaste recommended for smokers before finishing off my my regular toothpaste. Not great but I think it does something. I also see the hygienist every 6 months for a clean which I think makes a big difference. I guess it depends on if your problem is surface stains rather than the colour of your teeth. But I'm not a dentist unfortunately.. Any dentists/dental nurses out here?

Bicarbonate of soda from your baking ingredients cupboard

Does that just remove the stains or the enamel as well.

Can you do a search, there was a thread about this last week and I CBA to rewite it all. Bicarb is abrasive so will remove enamel if used regularly, smokers toothpaste is also the most abrasive usually.

Colgate whitening strips better than any so called whitening toothpaste

I think this might be the thread grumpystilskin referred to. Sounds like dentist is best bet

Thanks for the link..

The Oral B one is said to be not not abrasive, but has to be used for a few days to notice a difference.
