Pic on profile page.
Its shoulder length with a blunt fringe that is growing out at the moment. Its very fine.
I need some sort of fringe because i have lots of forehead lines.

DH thinks i shoud grow the fringe out a bit, and grow my hair an extra inch or two.

Going to a new salon this week so all opinions needed and welcome Smile thanks

Tbh I think if your hair is fine I wouldn't grow it any longer.
Is it all one length?

I am off to the hairdressers in 2 hours ....no idea what I'm going to come out like.

mosschops30 · 11/04/2012 13:27

It was all one length before bloody hairdresser decided to put in a few layers hence new hairdresser!

Im just worried its going to start looking lankier and thinner if i keep growing it. Plus at 36 should i have long hair?

That's why I wouldn't grow it any more.
I have just lost 3 inches of hairSad

mosschops30 · 11/04/2012 15:54

How does it look? Are you happy with it?

Yes I think so .
my hair is very straight and thick and I had a chin length choppy bob. But I saw a photo of myself last week and thought how tatty it looked.....so I have gone still bob but much shorter...bottom of ears on show. But long fringe.
I keep touching my ears.......

mosschops30 · 11/04/2012 16:07

Lucky you having thick hair Smile
can you suggest anything for my hair

You see I wish mine was thinner!

What about having it very blunt cut...that gives the illusion of thicker hair.

Ha ha, we always want what we cant have

Of course you should have long hair at 36 (says I at 37 with long hair Wink)

8 years ago I went for über short hair, thinking it would be easier to style, better for managing whilst running round after two young DS.

Now I have boob length hair, get really pee'd off having to wash, dry and straighten pretty much every day BUT I know there will come a time that it will need to come off so I'm keeping it for as long as I can Wink

My fringe is a pain as it grows so quick and never does what I want it to but I think its worth putting up with as I think I'd be lost without long hair - maybe because I can 'hide' behind it??????

Appointment is at 11 so will let you know how it went Smile

Love new hair, hairdresser and salon in general Smile

small and friendly feel, massage chair woo hoo which was lovely, turns out i sort of know the bloke who cut my hair from years ago when we worked on the same street!
Hes cut a new thicker looking fringe in, and blunt cut everything which looks loads better, he didnt criticse my old hairdresser but i coukd blatantly see how bad my fringe was cut and that its layered more heavily on one side than the other, only noticed now its cut properly. Worth the £48 Shock
