Hobbs sizing

can anyone give me some idea of what Hobbs sizing is like? My finger is hovering over some jersey tops in their outlet but I've never bought Hobbs before & stuff's marked S, M, L etc.

I tend to hover between 14 and 16 in places like Monsoon/M&S/East etc/, but would need an 18 in H&M, Top Shop etc.

I just don't want them to arrive and be clingy on my back and bingo wings Grin

I find hobbs to be reasonably generous - I wear the same size that I do other places, or sometimes one down (but the clothes arent unreasonably massive either).

Pretty generous I think

O that's great, cheers. I have 40 inch bust and 33 inch waist which fits within their 'L' sizing, but then I have insanely big hips and it all goes to buggery Hmm

but the tops won't go down that far. Sorry, thinking aloud here Grin

Also - is the jersey fabric pretty decent quality? I'm sick of buying jersey tops that are all flimsy and clinging and cling to my sodding moles never mind my flab

The quality is fine, you shouldnt find the fabric to be flimsy.

Thanks chaps, that's helped heaps.

You sound a similar size to me Lumpy - with Hobbs, I go for a size 14, especially in their knitwear. Size 16 tend to be a tad too roomy.

Am also hovering over some of their sale stuff, am trying hard to wait till it goes down further in price. It's a gamble!

Enjoy your purchases Smile
