What do you lot reckon then?

here

Because they cover up my toes and heels...but are still sandley...and I like the design on the front....but....I have NO IDEA what is in fashion right now...

The Ecco ones are gorgeous, but too £££££, the OPs are ok.
Most of the suggestions in-between are truly for OAPs. White with flowers you need to be 7 or 70.

FauxFox · 28/03/2012 10:01

these?

FriggFRIGG · 28/03/2012 10:03

Hmmm, faux that is the closest to something I might like in this whole thread (except my own wonderful pick of course)
But I'm worried they won't be comfortable....

These

I have finger like toes and I dont alway cover them up.

My sandal rules:
Buy sandals with quite alot of straps at the toe or thick straps.
Try on a size up, sometimes that makes a difference.
Flowers on the front of the sandal or some kind of detail distracts from the toes!
Wear strong colour nail varnish - again it distracts from the toes and breaks up the expanse of 'toe' Grin

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 28/03/2012 10:11

not sandals but

FriggFRIGG · 28/03/2012 10:12

Nice tips henwelly....but I haven't painted finger or toe nails for about 10 years....Grin

'NOT PAINTED TOENAILS IN TEN YEARS'

ShowOfHands · 28/03/2012 10:18

Frigg, I'm an old hippy and favour a proper shoe. I like the ones in your link. Some Doc Marten's sandals would also work if you find the right ones.

TheLaineyWayIsEssex · 28/03/2012 10:25

What about these?

HuwEdwards · 28/03/2012 10:31

Crikey, no offence, you are a lovely lot to help Frigg but never in the history of Mumsnet have I ever seen a thread with links to so many ugly sandals Grin

FriggFRIGG · 28/03/2012 10:34

Umm no.

Thanks showy....I like em too,I think I'm going to buy them

Oh yeah, henwelly you think that's bad? I have never used fake tan or been on a sun bed....or plucked my eyebrows....

OP posts:
FriggFRIGG · 28/03/2012 10:35

Unfortunately,I thought the same thing huw....I'm starting to freak out about what picture Mners have of me...

OP posts:
tothesea · 28/03/2012 10:36

I have similar feet and toe 'ishoos' and would love to choose pretty open toe sandal but I would scare children with my feet. Every year about this time I start the 'sandal hunt' ... nice sandals that cover the toes.. this year I am thinking about these

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 28/03/2012 10:36

docs
similar to faux's
feel sick
fashionable?

I think I am giving up, still doing some shoeporn though... so may be I will find something that looks like a sandals without being a sandal Wink

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 28/03/2012 10:39

Tot good call I had that in my mind but couldn't find any link (v.traditional south of france's sandal)

FriggFRIGG · 28/03/2012 10:39

Ooooh I like those bythesea

OP posts:
FriggFRIGG · 28/03/2012 10:40

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 28/03/2012 10:46

I've never used a sunbed/plucked eyebrows/painted toenails either. I'm not allowed on s&b usually.
