flattering flat shoe for the study of ankle, such a thing?

Very long in the leg but no finely turned ankle here, not fat but...substantial!

Love a high heel, especially a cut away peep toe when I'm out of my boots, but now in my first trimester and fully expecting to have SPD again by the second tri and I regret not ditching the heels earlier last time. So I'm decided its almost time to lose the heels...

Any advice appreciated. I own on pair of flats and some birkenstocks from last pregnancy and that's it!

Stick with the old shoes and burn them after you've given birth then buy some nice high ones Wink

Seriously, I'm sure some are ok but I'm not a fan of flats. I'm also pregnant so I'm sure I'll be forced to buy some ugly flat shoes at some point Sad

I have had massive back problems, and my doc said that completely flat shoes are not that great, actually. Shoes with a bit of a heal (granny style I guess) are best..

I find Gabor and Pikolinos great for "acceptable" granny shoes for my difficult back and feet

Nine west have some nice flats at the minute - I am in same boat and a I am pg ankles will only get larger!!!! Last time i livedin hideous birkenstocks but will be attempting to be more stylish this time especially as it is summer and cant hide away as much!

Am tempted by these www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Nine+West+Squareone8+Loafers/162483728,default,pd.html

Completely flat are as bad as very high according to my physic - a smallish wedge is the best or something sensible like Birkies.

I fecked up my feet whilst preggo. Now I wear DM ballerinas as they have a decent sole and toe box

sedgieloo · 22/03/2012 17:59

Thanks for the replies, Perry am being dim here perhaps but what is DM? I would like some well made ballerinas I think...Thanks!
