Any wonder product for those awful vertical lines above the lip? I will not do Botox , fillers etc. The next best thing in a cream / gel. Does it exist??

If you won't do fillers then you could try the Dermaroller. This is a device (done in a salon) that basically pricks your skin with tiny needles causing tiny bits of "damage" which then heal, and this healing process stimulates collagen production. Pretty good evidence to support that it works and I think its fairy affordable - you can even buy smaller versions to do at home to "supplement" your salon treatments.

Do you smoke? If so STOP Grin

And don't whistle.

Or suck lollipops

Or give blow jobs

Or anything that makes your face go into this position!!!

I've been using the Tua Trend, and it's definitely making a subtle difference to my face. I know this because I stopped using it for a few weeks and my face looked different, less toned basically. It makes a difference to my cat's bum mouth, my droopy eyelids and my saggy cheeks.

Thank you for replies. Does the derma roller really hurt. Is it expensive? Whats tua trend?

Tua Trend is a facial toning machine. I've tried the Slendertone face one too, and prefer the Tua Trend. It stimulates the muscles in your face and basically exercises them and tones them up. You have to use it for about 20 minutes, 5 times a week. It makes a subtle difference, but it's good.

Lottsie may I ask you a related question, please?

TattyDevine · 18/03/2012 08:10

What brand of serums do you recommend Lottsie? What one does your clinic use?

Why were lotsie and totsi deleted? Advertising?

OP posts:
Lottsie · 20/03/2012 20:13

I received an email saying I'd been deleted because of advertising restrictions but just wanted to give you some honest advice based on 15yrs of experience as a nurse! I was a bit surprised tbh. Good luck with the lines.

DeepThought · 20/03/2012 20:33

oh drat Lottsie

I was wondering if you could give me some advice about whether lip fillers and playing a trumpet would be counter-productive

I have horrid vertical lines starting (mid forties) and play trumpet as a hobby; I use pressure on my top lip to produce the sounds - is a lip filler a no-no (I think so?)

Sorry you were deleted

Lottsie · 30/03/2012 02:01

Hi deepthought. Can you send me a PM & I can give you some advice but better not on this 'thread'. Thanks.
