Hello, in the past I went to Sweaty Betty, but looking at the website, this is now costing big bucks. while tshirts from normal shops are ok, there's nothing like unflattering trousers to make you feel demotivated at the gym. can anyone recommend good quality and hardwearing (ie washing well) gym kit?

thanks XXXx

I get all my gym stuff from TK Maxx top sports brands at half the price, i swear by nike dri-fit trousers, they come in loose, regular and slim fit and wash really well, they are also flattering end need no ironing.

amazon do some good bargains

MandMdirect and sweatshop.co.uk are my staple sources of gym wear. The only thing is mandmdirect send tons of spammy, irritating texts for ever afterwards - but their stuff is so so cheap (for proper big brands) that I can't not recommend them.

I usually order my stuff from Debenhams when they have a blue cross sale or something on.

Lidl do some good exercise gear - their running kit is excellent, comparable/better quality than Nike/Adidas and around £7 for cropped leggings etc.

I can't vouch for their gym stuff (although I wear my running kit in the Gym) but I don't go anywhere else for running gear now

I'm liking the Sainsbury's trousers and top and Tesco have a Kelly Holmes collection too.
It's all polyestertastic but quick drying. I might splash out on something more natural soon.

I get all my running kit from Sports Direct - and Lidl and Aldi.

I don't see the point in spending loads -and I haven't been disappointed often with my purchases.

The only thing I spend on is proper running shoes and socks - and a fab sports bra.

Sportshoes.com has good discounts on decent sportswear.

ronhill (its a running brand) i think is really good quality but much cheaper than nike etc

I bought my Nike running kit from Next in the sale online(half price). I have bought a few bits from SportsDirect as well, as their stuff is usually marked down.

I have a couple of pairs of Gap sports trousers which have lasted for a few years so far (although maybe not with entirely constant use Blush. And they are included in Gap sales, which can be v cheap.

supernanny - Lidl running socks are ace too - on a par with X-socks IMO
