Am I the only one who thinks they look odd?

I hate skinny jeans with court shoes! Sandals or boots would have been a lot prettier.

It is hot and sunny in Paris and all the teens and pre-teens are out in their coloured jeans! DD will be after some very soon!

The jeans would look good with ballet flats. The jacket and scarf are too old for her.

Agree sue ballet flats would look way better - but I am very boring and wear them with everything, and probably will do for the next 50 years whether theyre in fashion or not.

Kate plays very safe with her clothes - she's a conservative sort of girl who doesn't take risks. But let's face it: she has a lifetime of dressing for the camera and I am sure she will find her style in due course.

Jeans length is fine, i love 7/8 trousers, but I thing the black shoe looks a bit wrong.

i think she looks pretty 'on trend' as they say. not my taste because i am way too old to carry it off, but you are correct op, the shoes are wrong.

I agree it all looks a bit muddled, and would have preferred her in flats, but I did love her Orla Kiely dress in Dulwich.

And I really like how happy she looked playing hockey - she genuinely seemed to be really enjoying herself. I'm a huge Kate fan generally, but it was so refreshing to see her less camera aware and much more involved in what she was actually doing.

My DD1 has some turquoise skinnies. They are lush.

The woman in the asda ad is also wearing the most UNSPEAKABLE shoes. I swear to god the jeans look better in RL than they do on their website. Plus I can fit into a size 8

Size 8

No - they are not bumster-y like lots of skinny jeans, which is great. They are not exactly high waisted either, just right imo.

They haven't got much stretch in though, however I quite like that because stretch skinnies go baggy and shite after a while.

And the size 8 - I am really pleased (nearly 3 months of sustained dieting and workouts).

Asdas jeans are fabulous.

They are - some styles are a bit dodgy but generally the fit is good and for cheapo jeans they last for ages.

I know! Fugly shoes. You can't see the model's face but you can tell she is mortified at having to wear the sodding things.

got some red Gok ones from Sains today - very pleasing

she's just a rich girl with loads of money and access to stuff she likes - anyone could manage to look halfway decent with that remit. I hate the way she's suddenly some fashion idol just cos she married well. why is the west so obsessed with weight and looks? how fab would it be to hear how interesting she was.

sorry, what I mean is; i think she seems really nice. but i wish she could be talked about for her job and not her looks. it's so typical when talking about women.

She hasn't got a job grumpy! She married into royalty. And in my book, that's not a job
