Do you use face powder? Or a powdery foundation- I look shiny!

I stopped using powder over foundation years ago when I found it kept building up on top of my eyebrows (!?) and looked rather cakey, but I had my photo taken yesterday for work and thought I looked really shiny!

I use a Barbara Daly foundation which I like, but obviously it isn't enough to keep the shine under control. I don't have oily skin, but need something? What can I try!?

Another good tip if you want to stay shine free - never put your make - up on warm skin. A lot of people put their make up on straight after they get out of the shower or standing in front of a radiator. If you do this the make up will just melt and slide off. If your skin is warm, spray it with some water and let it dry off, or open the window and get some cool air on your face. It's amazing how much better your make up will last.
