Where can I buy a good supportive 36DD bra that walks that tightrope between frumpy and slutty?

I used to swear by HotMilk; my latest buy arrived last week and I was soooo disappointed; the quality was dire. So where do I try next? Am still bf but not too hung up on buying dedicated nursing bra as she is 14m now and only snacking at bed time.

I wouldn't touch M and S with a barge pole but budget sadly does not stretch to Rigby and Peller.

Most normal ranges should go up to DD cup these days, it's not a particularly tricky size to find so most normal department stores should be able to help.

Or you could visit Bravissimo. Their fitting service is excellent and they have a really good range of larger cup size bras in both plainer and prettier styles. They are your best bet in my opinion, but do get fitted by them as you might find you need to change size. They hardly have any nursing bras though but if you aren't bothered about that then I'd give them a try.

Freya and Fantastie (stocked in John lewis and Selfridges at least) are good for larger cups.

I'm looking for good bras too atm. It's a nightmare. It seems that you cannot have both well-fitting and comfortable in the same bra. To "fit properly" it has to dig into your flesh, create fat bulges, and make you breathless.
