I have fairly straight hair which can get bit frizzy only I've never been able to find a nice lightweight serum what doesnt make hair flat and greasy.

Tried & failed :

Trevor Sorbet
Fudge
Charles Worthington

Currently using one from Superdrug (cant remember name - bum or something silly) best so far but still on search for one better.....

I too have fine hair and have found that Bedhead is quite light on my hair and also smells lovely too. Costs about £8.00 though.

I use Boots own Hair Science one on DD's long hair - it helps when brushing in the morning! About £4.

I use John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock Glosser (what a mouthful!) Blonde & red versions also available.

I also have fine nearly-straight hair that needs taming without weight. I use it on wettish hair (ie unwrapped from towel and combed out) and only on the length (ie ears downwards) else it makes the roots flat. It just persuades it to hang better and not frizz!

Good conditioner helps too - the Sunsilk Brunette one is pretty good, also Tesco own brand Pro-V intensive stuff.
