Am normally a lancome user but would like to economise so any recommendations of cheaper ones that are good for sensitive eyes?

thanks

Have used many over the years, but best by a mile is Body Shop Camomile Eye Makeup Remover.
Around £6 a bottle I think, I buy in bulk as I fear it being discontinued!
Can't recommend it too highly

40notTrendy · 12/03/2012 18:31

Garnier one in a green bottle v good. I have a boots one I saw recommended on here! Think it's in their natural collection stuff? In the greenish packaging. It's a half and half one you shake up to use. V gentle and does the job well.

Garnier simply essentials for me - i keep going back to it. It never stings and i have really sensitive eyes. I don't use waterproof mascara tho so don't know how it would shift that.

SilkStalkings · 12/03/2012 18:53

I just use supermarket's own unscented facial wet wipes! They do the job and no spillages when drunk Blush.

notnowImreading · 12/03/2012 18:54

Simple is good.

peggyblackett · 12/03/2012 18:56

Oil Cleansing Method? Super cheap and super effective.

dingdong3 · 12/03/2012 18:56

I have the Neal's Yard one as I'm a bit funny about chemicals around my eyes. Have sensitive eyes too...contact lens wearer. It's £10 I think so maybe on the expensive side of things but it's lovely and refreshing - not oily in consistency.

blackgrapes · 12/03/2012 18:58

second the Body Shop camomile one.

Non greasy and takes off everything. It's better than anything else I've used.

ggirl · 12/03/2012 18:58

johnsons facial wipes for dry skin
I don't have dry skin but use these...they're brilliant

suebfg · 12/03/2012 19:20

another vote for Simple

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/03/2012 19:36

Fab - lots of suggestions - will see what boots have on offer when I pop in on my eternal quest for the soap & glory foot buffer Smile

Simple stings my eyes. Boots Botanics is lovely!

40notTrendy · 12/03/2012 20:18

Botanics! Thank you!!! Not natural collection.

faustina · 12/03/2012 20:33

Bourjois - it's as good as Chanel and only costs a fiver or something at Boots

MeDented · 12/03/2012 20:38

Another vote for simple, the only one i have ever found that doesnt irritate my eyes and is non greasy and fully removes my eye make up

IslingtonDi · 12/03/2012 20:42

Thirding (or fourthing?) Body Shop's Camomile stuff.

Shoppingveggie · 12/03/2012 20:42

Baby Oil is fantastic! Always used Clinque 'take the day off' - I also wanted to economise - I will never go back (although I have decanted it into old Clinque bottle ;-) )

monkeysmama · 12/03/2012 20:46

Talika from eBay. Works miracles. The Johnsons eye pads are great otherwise.

Pachelbel · 12/03/2012 21:11

I second Garnier Simply Essentials.
It comes in a blue bottle and is and oil and water solution that you shake up before using.

It takes everything off really quickly with no effort, and is pretty inexpensive.

No7 do a similar one but it's more expensive and no wear near as good - I find myself really having to scrub at my eyes to get my mascara off.

anniewoo · 12/03/2012 21:18

The garnier essentials one i have is in a clear bottle and you don't have to mix it. Perhaps the one i have is for non waterproof mascara

ThePetiteMummy · 12/03/2012 21:21

I love L'Oréal, doesn't sting, even if it goes right in your eye. I find both Simple
& Body Shop ones sting, and I'm not generally a sensitive type!

Maraki · 12/03/2012 21:24

Baby oil or Bobbi Brown. Very dry and sensitive skin, I wear lots of gel eyeliner and 3 coats of mascara every day, they both take it off easily

crazyaccountant · 12/03/2012 21:24

I find the boots no7 blue liquid remover that you need to shake very good. Always use my £5 vouchers on them so never needed to pay full price for one in years!

Mrawmraw · 12/03/2012 21:43

Another fan of Body Shop Camomile here. I'm a contact lense wearer and it doesn't leave that sticky residue most other ones do x

NewGirlInTown · 12/03/2012 21:55

Nice to see so many Body Shop Camomile fans here! I love how non greasy it is, refreshing and gentle
