Best foundation of the moment?

Always on the hunt for The Foundation......am nearly out of my Clarins Instant Smooth which I keep coming back to, but wondered if there was anything particularly wow-factor-y come out while I've been using this pot?

I am very tempted by the Dior Capture serum foundation but if I'm forking out £60 for a bottle of slap I want some recommendations first!

I had samples of Vitalumiere and Lancome something or other (Teint idole?) and wasn't impressed by either. I am very old (46) and have dry skin. I need to knock 20 yrs off please!

I hear good things about Bourjois healthy mix?

Thanks again oh-gorgeous-gurus....I have bought some bare minerals so when it arrives will no doubt be back asking where on earth to put it, and how!

Just in case anyone is still looking, I changed from clinique aa while back- they discontinued my pale shade- to Clarins Extra Firming which is nice, but I recently bought Bobbi Brown moisturising foundation.

It's a great colour match- I needed Porcelain- but I do have to apply 2 coats to get any decent coverage.

I have very dry skin and haven't got on very well with bare minerals (sorry)! lovely coverage but it was quite drying and seemed to collect in all my lines no matter how much buffing and swirling I did.

I am using By Terry at the moment. It is wonderful, amazing and gorgeous. Really good coverage and really moisturising. Space NK are the only stockists though which is a bit of a pain.

Azazello do you find the By Terry lasts all day? I used it for over a year and am a big fan of BT. I have a full bottle in the cupboard but find I'm using Bare Minerals every day for the staying power.

It is a bit difficult to tell! By the end of the day I don't look as pristine or quite as gorgeously dewy as I so in the morning ( due to the by terry, not me!) but I still look a lot better than without foundation or just tinted moisturiser. A bit of BM on top does help though.

amelia which Clinique foundation were you using? I'm a big fan of Even Better; definitely up there with my favourites. Also find Super Balanced works well for some people but Even Better is my preference due to dry skin.

Also just switched to Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich which I am getting on really well with, I am Alabaster in it.

I don't stick to any one as a perk of the job is trying lots of different makeup, but I do have my favourites.
