Going to Bristol next week. I have about £400 to spend and I need the following:

Bras (30D so awkward size to find, but have already been pointed in the right directionfor these)
Knickers
Something to go on my feet with jeans (not skinny jeans)
Jeans (not skinny jeans)
Handbag (leather, probably tan coloured, across body style, nice and roomy)
Earrings (silver, something for everyday, but not studs)
Light spring Jacket (would prefer something a bit longer than waist length to keep skirts and dresses in place on windy days!)

I would really appreciate and suggestions or reccomendations for shops to visit, or any online links. Most high street stores are there I should think.

I'm about 5'3" and about a size 8. Please please help, this is the first time in my life I've ever had enough money to go out and actually buy this stuff from scratch and not just make do with the local NewLook, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Don't know where to start!

redhappy, the link for the jacket isn't working - could you try it again?

The bag you like on that site is the one I have - it is really nice leather, and surprisingly light to wear, although you could fit pretty much anything in it

Wow really? I do like it, just a bit above my planned budget for a bag. Maybe I could stretch to it though. Is the leather soft? Do you think you could hold hands with 2 children without it falling off your shoulder?

the leather is REALLY soft, and thick too (as in not flimsy and cheap looking). i have the chocolate brown one. The shoulder strap is harder leather and stays in place whatever. I can see it would be a big chunk of your budget, but I think a bag is something you're (hopefully) going to use for a long time, so you should get the best you can.

I quite like this jacket, but it is probably too lightweight for you. they have some nice ones in Gap

I think it's a bit 'puffy' and loose for me. But would bring me back on budget so I could get the bag Grin

I like this a lot. Nice clean lines, and it would definitely keep a skirt in place if it's a windy day.
