Has anyone bought any pot belly/first tri bloat hiding dresses lately they could link to please?

Newly pregnant (6.5 wks) I'd like to be able to keep my pregnancy quiet for a few more weeks yet and have a few family occasions coming up and after some belly skimming/flattering numbers that will also do for work, I'd really appreciate any ideas or links.

Doesn't have to be maternity, I'd be more than happy if it lasts for 1st through to 2nd tri. Its my second so I'm expecting to show a bit earlier, plus I don't have the concave belly I once had for starters!

The Dorothy Perkins dresses with rouching at the waist were great for me at Christmas when I was at that stage. I have a leopard one and the print helped to conceal my tummy too. Otherwise skinny jeans or trousers with a silky loose top and jacket are good at skimming rather than clinging. A nice scarf conceals bumps too under a good jacket / blazer. I wouldn't bother with maternity jackets as long as you don't want to wear them done up. I don't know what style you like but Topshop Leighs are great in early-mid pg and they have a foil top in atm which is lovely & looks good under a leather jacket / tux style jacket.

Yes I was going to say those Dorothy Perkins dresses too - the Billie & Blossom ones.

(I am very apple shaped - 12 years & counting post-partum and I still look 3 months gone despite being the right weight for my height - and those dresses are REALLY flattering).

blossom&pageSize=20

This shows how the ruching works - but the printed ones are even more concealing.

I wore coloured cardigans and coloured skinny belts over black dresses a size larger than usual, and just buttoned the top button of the cardi. The drape of the cardi disguised the sticking out belly from the side as it just draped out from the bust. Having a hint of the belt under the cardi seemed to make my tummy look flatter. Thought I was huge but no-one guessed.

[http://www.lkbennett.com/clothing/dresses/DRWILDER958POLYESTER L.K.Bennett] have lots of versions of the DP dresses (maybe they were the original) if you are in the market for a £££s one...

Padded bra (if you are small up top) helps distract from a belly as well, or at least puts it into proportion. I wear lots of long cardies as well.
