As Pepperberry? Bravissimo clothes usually fit me, and based on DH's reaction Hmm I ordered this (it hasn't arrived yet)

grey dress

which I love the shape of but not sure about the colour.

The website has new dresses added today, and I like the colour of this one but less sure about the shape:

blue dress

Which is nicer for a wedding? Should I order the blue as well and send back whichever I don't like?

If I stick with the grey, what accessories should I go for? was thinking something like plum or deep raspberry, eg these shoes

Ah. How about knee boots with a wedge heel? You can maybe wear a bright 'statement' necklace & bracelets for a touch of colour. Not sure about navy and grey, though...

(And I'm sure mrsmartin is right, kitten heels would look fine, I am sure, as will you. And I reckon your cleavage in that dress will be the main focus of attention anyway!)

What are these microfishnets of which you speak ?

MsF - I love knee boots, but it's a midsummer wedding so will be too warm for boots ( I hope! ) . You are right about a necklace, bracelet is a good idea too. Navy probably not right for this dress .

I can rustle up a half - decent cleavage , which may detract attention from my legs to a reasonable degree.

the grey is lovely

MsF1t · 06/03/2012 09:12

I have a terrible habit of wearing boots with everything, all the time. Though on a hot day... maybe not. Living in Scotland, that's a very rare thing mind you!

MsF1t · 06/03/2012 09:14

Oh, and maybe you could have some coloured highlights in your hair? You could have anything from quite red ones to subtle copper. A hairdresser would be able to advise, I'm sure. Could really complement the whole thing...

Inertia · 06/03/2012 12:50

Thank you Dinah- was hoping it would turn up today but no luck yet!

MsF- I do have highlights actually- naturally mousy but highlights are blonde with a little copper, so will make sure hair is up to date before the big day.

Wedding is southern England, so fingers crossed for a warm day!

these..?

Inertia · 06/03/2012 16:55

They are lovely- there is no chance I would be able to walk in them though!

Oops, sorry- forgot about that bit! Have a dig about on Schuh's website though- you might well find something you can walk in that's a bit fonkier.

I bought one of these lovely dresses after the Mumsnet Swears by email came through, as I missed this thread.

Nobody said it came with FREE CHOCOLATE!!

And Hotel Chocolate delicious chocolate too.

Am now going to look back on this thread with regard to shoes .... I bought the grey dress btw.

EnjoyResponsibly · 22/03/2012 12:33

Grey dress with the pink shoes. Love colour shoes with a mono dress myself.

Dollydowser · 22/03/2012 12:39

The chocolates were a special yesterday to celebrate Pepperberry's first birthday.

bluesky · 22/03/2012 13:05

I timed that well then!
