here are some I tested bit.ly/AvN1Gx
i'm not going to lie to you, you cant really get rid of lines, just soften them - my bigges bugbear are bags/circles and I've yet to find something that erases them, so a good concealer is your best bet.
But you should be using a decent eye cream anyway - i'm reviewing some new ones at the mo: Balance Me is nice and light, ideal for day use, otherwise, my fave is Aesop but I think it's about £50....
I avoid anything with silicones in, but esp in eye creams as I always find it creeps into my eyes and makes them blurry/watery.
Whats your budget?

ChablisLover · 29/02/2012 11:53

Budget can be up to £20 or £30

what about Pai Skincare?
Mama Mio is supposed to be good but I haven't actually tried it

ChablisLover · 29/02/2012 20:02

Will look those up
Was also looking at the liz Earle eye duo. Anyone tried them?

Have recently gone back to liz Earle and really love her products just never used eye ones before.

Also have heard good reports on the bliss and dermalogica

Was also looking at soap & glory for a cheaper eye cream

Have phases of not using eye cream but am thinking it is becoming a must.

I don't use eye cream but have just been given some Estee Lauder cream and as a new mother I will take the hint and start applying. Question is, where do you put eye cream? just under your eyes?

Thanks - sorry to hi-jack!

MissFoodie · 01/03/2012 10:34

havent tried the LE ones, think one is more of a serum the other a cream?
Wouldnt use Estee Lauder/Soap Glory/ Bliss/ Dermalogica, but only because I am specific about ingredients, so cannot comment on those.

I put eye cream all over my eyes! if its a decent product it will sink in, not sting or run into your eyes (which is what most silicone based ones do)

At weekends or after a night out I apply a thick layer underneath my eyes and leave it to soak in, like a mask, you will be surprised how much it sucks up!

The key thing is to find the right texture for you, ie gel, lotion, thick cream, etc, you can always experiment with cheaper brands to start with eg Simple, Organic Surge, etc?

MissFoodie · 01/03/2012 10:34

ps LE superskin cream is great and you can use it round your eyes

If you wanted an organic/not full of dubious stuff cream, Faith in Nature do a lovely eye cream. It's around (iirc) £7.

Dyyou know I went to Bluewater today and had a free facial at Estee Lauder this morning. It was fantastic and I've been admiring my eyes ever since because I honestly look like I've had an eye lift. It's incredible.

I'm trying to ring them to find out what it was, but bloody John Lewis switchboard keeps cutting me off. I'm going in tomorrow to get it.

I also went to Leia (sp) and had a bra fitting. I bought 3 bras and I kid you not look like I've had a boob job!! M&S have measured me as a 38c for 20 years but I now have a 34FF and look fantastic.

I look like a new woman!!

ChablisLover · 01/03/2012 16:50

Took the plunge and ordered the liz Earle duo - cream and serum. Fingers crossed.
