Have just looked in mirror and seriously, I don't have lines around my eyes, I have bloody great grooves. Am so depressed and know I'm fixating but is there anything, short of botox/polyfilla, that will help disguise really bad crow's feet? Anything at all?

awww that's mean! Hydrate your eye area - dehydration causes extra lines and when the skin is hydrated it is more plump which softens the look of the lines. Also try wearing a primer, even when you don't wear make up it will even up your skintone and give your skin a nice velvety finish.

Thank you mrsmartin. will invest in some cream. any recommendations? i've tried no. 7 eye stuff but it just seems to irritate my eyes and discolours the skin a bit. may be too heavy?

You can buy wrinkle filler type creams - short-term affect but they do make a difference. Reviews here

Hassled thank you. They look just the job. I've never heard of such of things. Off now to try and buy (you can tell how desperate I am).

Gosh that is quite a reaction to have to a cream!!! perhaps start off with an oil and go from there...try either vitamin e, jojoba or almond oil. Take one drop and warm it between your two ring fingers before patting it into the lines. You can then massage it in if you need to but it should sink right in. You can do that morning and night but remember that one drop will do both eyes. Filler-wise, Lulu's timebomb killer filler has been getting fantastic reviews in the press (can't personally comment on the merits of line fillers as have no use for them)...take a look at what is available on qvc - the main ones are:
liz earle line serum - on easy paySmile
9alternative LE set
or lulu's killer filler

I'm not sure how much the Killer Filler is on it's own elsewhere but if you are interested in trying it out I would buy it from qvc and then if you don't like it you can return it for a refund (or if you do like it then use it for 3 weeks, then send it back for a refund and buy it from elsewhereGrin)!!
