Has anyone tried this? I keep seeing the advert and am worried I am getting tempted by yet another hair remover that will hurt me, scratch me or leave me with a vile rash!! Not cheap either!

I had one so my experience of it is as follows...

I used it on my legs as often as I could for a couple of months. It basically burns your hair off at the point it leaves the skin so you get a strong smell of burnt hair. That is why I couldn't keep it up - DH complained about the smell whenever I used it. I therefore sold it on ebay (got what I paid though). It didn't irritate the skin in any way but I did have to buff off the little black burnt bits of hair (like stubble). That was well over a year ago and I still have areas on my legs that are hair free and areas that have a definate reduction in hair. So I think it does work to some degree but the likelyhood is you will give up before you are hair free as it is smelly!! I am waiting until at home IPL etc becomes both more advanced and cheaper (think I will be waiting a while).
