so whats everyone wearing with their coloured skinnies?

bought a pair today from Asda, in a teal colour. Wanted red but didnt have my size. Felt strange wearing them as I remember wearing them 20 years ago :)
At my age (39) should I go for the pastel colours or will I get away with the bright colours.
SOmeone on mumsnet suggested the high waisted from next in green, really nice colour but very skinny :( couldnt get my legs in!

Madabouthotchoc - yes thats nice, I'm short of body and so I usually like things a bit shorter as they tend to come up "normal" size on me!

fergoose I think I might be interested in that grey slouch top on ebay and am watching one now.

Can anyone recommend a nice and not too pricey breton top?

fergoose is the grey slouchy top nice and soft? I have a pair of jbrand red jeggings (more like jeans really) so that would be ideal.
