Feather filled coat has not enjoyed being washed.....suggestions

Arrrghhhh. I have just washed my feather filled joules winter jacket. Now it says clearly that it can be washed at 30 and so I washed it on a delicate cycle at 30! Now have had it drying all day and to say its not done well doesn't really sum it up. All the feathers are in big clumps so the coat has bits with no padding and bits with clumps. Shaking doesn't seem to help. What can I do.....apart from freeze cos it's not going to keep me warm in its current state!!!

You need to tumble dry it otherwise it will smell and be flat as a pancake !!

Just washed a fibre filled jacket at 30 (as the label) and all the bloody fibres are clumped together! We don't have a tumble drier to do as everyone is mentioning here but my parents do!
Does anyone know if Let it naturally dry tonight, re-wash tomorrow them tumble dry it will it go back to normal?
Thanks

Gemma- don't re wash it just tumble dry it when you can. Should do the trick.

Can you get down filled coats re filled? I have a joules winter coat that's about 4 years old but feels a bit empty on the arms now. It's still in good condition but not as warm as it once was. Would rather try to fix it that buy a new one.
