Would you spend £35 on a blusher brush?

A Bobbi Brown one.

It seems OTT but then I remind myself that a pot of night cream last me 3-4 months and foundation the same- all around the £30 mark, and a brush should last for years.

Anyone?

Probably, yes, because I think it really makes a difference when you apply make-up with brushes and especially decent ones. It will last you for years so worth it in my opinion. I would adore a full set of BB brushes as I think they're fab so I'm building up my collection slowly as and when I can afford one and use cheaper ones (Body Shop, No 7 etc) for things I don't wear every day.

It's worth knowing that in her book, Bobbi Brown recommends using natural bristle brushes for powder based products and synthetic brushes for anything creamy. Obviously her brushes fit this criteria but it's handy to know if you are buying alternatives.

THIRTY FIVE QUID?

Yes,absolutely & more. I am a make up artist. My fave blush brushes are Laura Mercier & Space Nk. Both around that £,be sure to wash them regularly or pointless spending so much. Brushes are an investment & if you look after them, they will last for years & years.
They are an accessory, would you quibble over £35 for a bag that would last you for years?! Hope that makes sense!

well, I am now £80+ quid lighter. Went to Bobbi Brown counter and bought new foundation- fantastic- don't know why I diterhed for ages because it's lovely- thought it didn't give much coverage but it does and shade is spot on, plus a new blusher- Nudes range- Nude peach which is GREAT! I have a real issue with blusher as my skin shade is porcelain- so if you want a natural pale blush this is the one.
AND I bought the blusher brush- and I can see how it is different to the Body Shop one ( which isn't bad and have used for about 10 years!!)- the BB brush is softer and the brisltes stay fluffed wheras the BS ones tend to lie flat and you get a streak of colour rather than a soft circle.

I was tempted by the nude eye shadow palette at £39 but didn't.....
