Is there anything that works as well as Elasticizer?

Bought a sample thing of Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, didn't really expect it to be that good, but my hair is ACTUALLY shiny and full of volume. Normally it is a dull, dry, limp mess.

I just CAN'T afford it at the moment though. Is there anything that works as well and is more affordable?

I've got to say - I really don't think there is. Sad

It is expensive but all I can say is keep an eye on qvc - they put it on easy pay occassionally, which really helps (at the mo they have the 1litre size on 2 easy pays of £20-odd - still expensive but 1litre last me 9months or so if I use it once a week on my very long hair).

Ojon restorative treatment is supposed to work well and is cheaper but I personally haven't tried it as I am addicted to elasticizer!

Oh will keep my eye on qvc then.

Why is it so good, damnit?!

because PK developed it specifically for Audrey Hepburn - so it had to be good!! The guy just knows good haircare!

He does. His shampoo is the only thing that sorted out my itchy scalp and didn't destroy my hair.

Ah, itchy flakey scalp shampoo - yeah it is really good. Alongside the elasticizer, his scalp toner is my favourite 'specialist' product ever. I used to have quite a flaky scalp but the toner just makes it feel clean and smooth and healthy
