i have dark hair and have mostly shaved my legs although have had occasional waxes and epilators. Waxing and epilating have caused huge problems with in grown hairs and bumps (spots), but if i shave its not nice the next day! Have tried exfoliating with a million different scrubs and moisturising with you name it ive tried it but nothing is helping. Getting really frustrated and would happilly buy a "no no" but does seem a lot of money. Don't mind paying but need to know its worth it! Any ideas anyone?

I bought one a couple of years ago (so now they have an even better version) and i thought it was good. However, DH used to complain about the smell and so I did'nt keep it up and eventually sold it on ebay. However, I do have areas on my legs where the hair doesn't come through at all now so it must have started to work. I think if you can persevere with the smell and commit to doing it everyday then it is worth it (it doesn't take long to do). My advice is to buy silky mitts from boots - they work exactly the same as the buffer you get in the no no pack and cost about £1.50 for a pack of 3 *(I use them anyway - they give a great smooth finish).

It's a matter of sticking with it I think. The mitts are just a pain free way of getting silky pins - about as long lasting as shaving but your legs are super smooth afterwards.

The no no burns the hair (doesn't hurt) so it is a burning smell - it can be quite strong (didn't bother me but I can't even paint my nails around DH - he is v.smell-sensitive!!). If you want more reviews check out the qvc website - you'll get everyones experiences there, good and bad.

thankyou!!! I got some mits on saturday. DH thought it quite amusing while we were in boots looking for sand paper. I did try it a long time ago and just ended up with sore legs but that was before i'd shaved to death for 20 years. DH is mightily impressed with the result and so am i. Going to stick with it for a bit. Also tried it on DD (nearly 12) I have only ever let her use hair removal cream as didn't want her ending up with my problem, but she was amazed too..silky smooth! Fabulous. Does the hair get finer with this over time?
