I am going to have to do something about the number 11 frown lines. I am going to be in London next month, any recommendations of where to go and costs?

Hello, sorry cant help but bumping for you as considering having the elevens blitzed myself!

eandz · 10/02/2012 09:31

hey guys!

there is a fellow mumsnetter who does it for me in Maida Vale. PM and I can tell you all about her if you want.

She's a dentist on maternity leave and loves doing this stuff.

TheMouseRanUpTheClock · 10/02/2012 09:35

I would rather personally have a dr, thanks for the info.

okay, well there is also the Women's wellness center on #4 Wellington Road

Dr. Patricia Wilson

but honestly, if you've already got the lines, I don't think Botox will help. It's more a preventative thing.

Dr Tracy Mountford. 110 Harley St- main clinic is in Bucks but she is in London on Thursdays. very popular , very experienced. Did some fillers for me. google for her website- the Cosmetic Skin Clinic. If you want an appt you need to ring now- usually a 3-4 week wait.

Prof Peter Butler @ London Plastic Surgery Associates.
Google him and you will feel reassured regarding his experience/qualifications....then it's all down to £££

Thanks, I will give them a google.

Yes there is not much I can do about wrinkles I have already, I fancy giving my frown muscles a break for a few months to prevent more wrinkles.

Is it a preventive thing? I'm 39 and have had frown lines since I was 10. I have very little wrinkles other than these deep frown train tracks. Getting rid of them would take 15 years off me.

Don't think I can afford it though. Will have to get a fringe instead.

TheMouseRanUpTheClock · 10/02/2012 14:33

I read that if you give the muscles a break, they have to learn to frown again, so I don't plan on doing it every four months, prob once a year or so. I am in my thirties also, I could do with a confidence boost.

I go to Tracey Mountford's clinic but see Laurie. She is wonderful and has a very light touch. She'll give you a free top-up 2 weeks after each appointment if you feel it is too light.

I have my forehead lines and number 11s done every 4 months. The forehead lines are still there, just not as deep. The 11s have gone almost completely. I absolutely love the effect.

MarieLloyd · 10/02/2012 14:38

Also, the 'preventative' things is rubbish! Botox is brilliant for dramatically reducing forehead lines, elevens and crows feet.

Thanks
