Eyebrow help needed!

I have seriously over-plucked eyebrows. They're really thin and virtually nothing at the start of them (nearest my nose). For years now I've needed to draw them on fill them in with brow pencil, but it never looks natural and I've yet to find a colour of pencil or even powder that looks right. My hair is dark brown but my natural eyebrows are a lot darker.

Anyway, I've decided to grow them out. Have resisted plucking them for just over 4 weeks now but although they have thickened up quite a bit in the middle there is still very little at the starts and ends. Having read up on the matter I understand it can take a year for them to grow back :(

Unfortunately there is a veritable bush growing underneath each eyebrow Shock. It's been years and years since I last saw my brows in their natural state and my memory is poor but omg I don't remember having hairs that far underneath the brows! Why is it growing so well there yet not where I actually want it to! It's obviously been plucked away in much the same way as the brows so not sure why it's growing better Confused

So, I need to get rid of the bushes lol, but don't want to pluck them so would a professional wax or thread be better? I shall explain that I'm in the process of growing them out, will they be able to help shape them by only waxing the bits I don't want? I've never had them done by anyone before. Would tinting them help them look fuller?

And lastly, will my brows ever grow back properly? If not, what can I do to fill them in apart from what I have been doing which looks a bit crap tbh Don't want them tattooed!

Firstly - congrats on having the guts to grow them out! Right, few tips:

1, get them threaded as the beautician will have more control on what hairs to take out,

2, get yourself a good concealer for under your brows (I use the benefit 'it stick' as it is the perfect colour for me and it is nice and thick so it covers my jet-black regrowth - though I would only ever use it under my brows)

3, If you tint, do it professionally but personally I would get a powder and a pencil - the powder will give the colour and the infill, while the pencil will give definition.

4, If you can afford it, I would try out Revitabrow. I've been using Revitalash for about 3 months and my eyelashes look almost false now - very long and thick where before they were short and straight. I've just got the brow version in a super-value pack from qvc and in 2 weeks I've already started to see results (there is a very long regrowth cycle for your brows so that is a pretty great result).

5, Don't despair or give up - brows are so important! And my eyebrows go straight across and about an inch down towards my eyes. Nothing a good pair of tweezers doesn't fix though! :o

Apparently hd brows are fab and sound perfect for you, have a google.

I should confess I do have a long fringe which hides my regrowth quite well Grin. It really needs a trim as I don't normally wear it so long nut I need to to conceal my caterpillars!!

I have used the concealer trick actually, it works ok, better if I then go over it with a shimmery eyeshadow (thank you YouTube for that tip ;) )

So, I'll book myself in for some threading and will now go look for Revitabrow. Thanks you for your help.

I so wish I'd never gone anywhere near my brows with a pair of tweezers. So much so that I told DD, 12, that she is never to attempt to do hers, I will take her some where to have them done professionally.

It can be reversed - though the first time I went to Shavata in Manchester I thought the woman was going to have a massive go at me about over-plucking!! I use the HD palette as my powder and it is great but not all HD brow salons are the same - they get trained to a standard level and that's it - I always worry about the upkeep of their training so I would check out the individual salons' rep. I find that I only need to get mine done once every 6 months and that I can maintain the shape myself with tweezers.
