Hair clips and the like..

I've got shoulder length fine wavy hair and, after years having a bob, I'm trying to master the casual up do! Been You tubing and I feel what works best for my head is twisting up the back and then letting it flop back down iyswim. But keeping it up is problematic with kirbies. Those butterfly clips are god awful and with light blonde hair just look naff and daft.

I am missing something?

I don't know, but I'm bumping it for you in the hope that someone can come along and advise. What's OK to use, what's tantamount to a Hello Kitty hairslide?

I have to keep my hair up for work and I'm currently using Spin Pins - once they're in you can't see them, they're quick, and easy enough for an utter hair idiot like me to use. www.boots.com/en/Goody-Simple-Styles-trade-Spin-Pin_1190542/

I bought som spin pins from a new discount store in our local town, at only 99p they were worth a go.

Miomio, you just tuck it all in if you want to avoid floppy bits - as with so much in life.
