HD Brows - any good?

Am just about to book to get these done, and - like all beauty treatments - I completely believe I will come out looking like the woman on the leaflet.

Bitter experience tells me I won't, but that aside - are they any good? Worth the money?

TIA! :)

I don't know about the HD service (I go to Shavata in Manchester to get my shape twice a year) but I have found the palette to be fantastic. They will certainly do more than your normal £5 threading service though and properly done brows take years off you and complete your face.

I have HD brows done, they are good but feel a bit like prolonged torture depending on who does them for you. It takes quite a lot longer than a normal brow shape but I do really rate them, they look more filled in iyswim.

You will not look like the girl on the picture, sorry, but your eyebrows will be more perfect looking than you have seen them before imo.

Excellent, thank you

So, what do they actually do to your eyebrows to make them look great? Can they do whatever it is to fair eyebrows?

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 06/02/2012 22:06

I'm interested in this as my brows are sparse and uneven due to crap overenthusiastic plucking when I was a teen. Is it expensive Catgirl? Will come back next week to see how it's gone Smile.

I've had HD Brows done and found it to be very thorough - waxing, dying and threading. I had no idea that I had so much hair to remove.

I often find the dye is a bit brutal immediately as I am very fair and it makes me look a bit early Billie Piper. But after a few days, it wears off and looks lovely. If I was darker, it wouldn't be obvious.

So worth a go, I'd say....

I rate em quite highly. I'd say it takes a few visits to really get the full effect, and I'd suggest leaving it as long as you can bear it before you go - just so you've more hair to shape iykwim? Also, make sure its proper HD brows, that's a specific brand using specific product...some salons advertise it and its not actually HD brows. It's much pricier than "normal" brow threading or waxing, but the effect lasts for ages, and once you've been 6 times your next visit is free. (in an HD brows accredited salon.)

kitty - is £30 so its a lot more than normal shaping.......am really hoping its worth the £

will uodate on Tuesday :)
