Hi there! Have been a LM tinted moist fan for ages but am really interested in all the reviews BB is gettig .... Thinking of investing .... Am
I right in thinking BB replaces the primer then foundation rigmarole right?
Or would I need primer with the BB?
Is BB very sticky and shiny? I don't really like 'heavy ' foundation.
Are there different brands?

I got a sachet of the garnier bb cream and it was like a tinted moisturiser in a thicker, balmy texture. It was lovely and gave a nice look - I have good skin so it just gave a nice colour but I felt it was more of a summer texture. It didn't give enough coverage to my dark circles (hereditary - no skin care will ever fix them) so it wouldn't work alone on a blemished skin but might give skin care benefits if used instead of a primer. It gave a luminous glow but felt more velvety. It is £10 in boots, which is one of the cheapest bb creams around.

If you use BB, then you don't need moisturiser/primer/foundation. I'd say it was like a tinted moisturiser with serum added - my skin feels nice and not made up, just a bit more even

I use a bb but as I have dry skin I do use moisturiser and serum first otherwise my skin feels tight. I find the bb cream (No. 7) gives a really nice, smooth, light coverage.

Thanks for the replies,
My skin is fair, not too bad condition but have dark circles too (kid induced)
Am going to see if I can wrangle a sample or two to try, wasn't really aware that there was more than one brand making it. I had thought it was a garner thing! So who makes the best one ? Do they do them for different skin types? What about shades for different skin tones? Oh dear sorry for all the questions Blush

I've seen v positive reviews in the Estee Lauder one. I've used a couple of the Korean ones, Lioele is thicker/heavier coverage. Skin 79 is sheer, but still very flattering. Colours can be odd, but usually look nice if you warm up your skin with a little bronzer.
