apart from on my legs? I am thinking footwise.

its too cold to break out the flats (and I dont do heels) would brown biker boots be ok? or would ankle boots be better? or black pull on ridery boots?

and a tunicy top?

or should I not bother and leave coloured jeans to the young 'uns? (I am 4, 5'1" with freakishly long legs for my height and slim with narrow hips but a j-lo-y bum)

I think you could take them back for that simone. not fit for purpose.

They're lovely jeans. Quite like topshop kristens but much cheaper

I wear those with wedge ankle boots

I bought these jeans last year and I'm afraid I had the same problem with them going baggy Sad

OracleInaCoracle · 07/02/2012 12:54

Thanks I shall try them in the privacy of my living room for a couple of hours in case. Really hoping they are ok. I could do with funking up a bit, am in a bit of a style rut.

I think the problem with them is that there is only 1% elastane. However, I agree that when you first try them on they look fab!

I've never tried high waist jeans before, I tend to stick to fairly low rise.

Me too and I think that added to my dislike of them. It means you have all this extra material around your stomach and waist which you can see through your tops, makes you look bigger than you are.

Sorry lissie, didnt mean to put a downer on your new jeans, hopefully its just my shape and you wont have these problems

They're vile. I bought a pair in black and they were incredibly unflattering and uncomfortable.

OracleInaCoracle · 07/02/2012 15:37

I'm hoping that they will be fine. I love my skinnies but seem to live in blue jeans. I just need to liven my wardrobe up a bit!

If theyre not, have a look at Oasis website. I was online at lunchtime and their coloured skinnies are in the sale. Theyve got really good reviews for fit.

I had a look instore at warehouse and they had some nude/beige skinny cords in the sale, but not in my size. Tbh, its the colour I like. Don't think I'm brave enough for brights.

Wearing them now as I will wear them and they do look fab. Fingers crossed!

M & S have some very nice coloured jeans in their Limited Collection.

Gap also have some nice ones - they are a little more summery though!
