Well the title really says it all!

I am looking for something to cover my imperfections and lines on my face.

Are there anyone in their 40's who can help me?

Thank you

Where can I buy Bare Minerals in store - so I can try out the shades for a good skin match?

Debenhams. Just ask the sales staff to make you up - that's what I did. They will show you how to apply it as well. You need a shade that exactly matches your skin tone. That's what makes you look as if you aren't wearing any. The mistake too many people make - especially make up sales girls, is wearing a shade or two darker on their skin. They look obviously "made up" and IMO not as attractive.

I love the Bourjois 10 hour sleep foundation. It is much better than my Bobbi Brown one (which was way more expensive).

I'd add that the mineral foundations haven't suited my skin type. I have normal to dry skin and find that I need a liquid foundation - powders dry my skin too much.

I thought that would be the case for me, but it isn't. The pressed foundation that turns to powder is horrible for dry skin though and very ageing on me.

Do you wear powder over foundation?

I just use tinted moisturiser nowadays (age 44) and like it very well but would like to use foundation sometimes.

I used to use Clinique Superpowder (on it's own), but after 40 it just looks awful, crusty and dessicated - although it was wonderful in my 30s.

Liz Earle tinted moisturiser, absolutely beautiful, it does not set into the lines, stays put and it isn't really makeup, just little something that makes you look better, but still you.
