Nail varnish pens

Was just wondering if anyone could recommend a brand of these? I have been reading about pens that effectively colour in your nails (not nail art, they do the whole nail) but I am not having much luck in tracking any down. Does anyone use them?

I used to sell nail art pens called nail supreme, that had a brush so you can paint the nail and a pen which you can use to do nail art of you like, is it that type of thing?

Sort of but without the nail art bit. Sort of like a touch eclat type affair for nail varnish...
I have found these but cant seem to find any nice colours to buy in this country.

Sounds tacky (Grin) but they sell sets of these in Hamleys. We got a set and they are quite good. Have also seen a lot of nail art stuff in superdrug recently.

I can't recommend any but I can advise you NOT to buy the nailene polish pens. I was tempted to try them - total beauty junkie - and they are terrible. Stick with nails inc and ciate colours and leighton denny precision corrector and a generous coat of seche vite and voila - perfect 7 day manicure!!

sorry - didn't say why the pens are bad. The polish thickens in the pens really quickly and it doesn't dispense into the brush properly, which means the polish doesn't go on evenly. Also, the brushes themselves are too stiff and leave grooves in the polish. I also tried the white tip version, which was more of foam marker, and again, the finish was uneven and difficult.

I have a Sally Hansen one (bought in the US), and although its good as a quick touch up, it really doesn't last well, and the coverage is very thin

Thank you all. So the general opinion is that they are a bit gimmicky? I only paint my nails about once a year but thought that a pen might be convenient, but if they anything like the kids' paints pens then gunking up might be an issue.
