Need very pale/light foundation recommendations?

I have very very pale skin and every foundation I've tried is still too dark for me. I haven't been able to find one right for me.

Can anybody suggest a very very very pale foundation? Do you have trouble finding the right shade?

The lightest shades in Max factor, mac, benefit, rimmel, No 7, 17, l'oreal, etc the usual brands are too dark for me.

Clinique do some very pale colours. It's the only brand I've ever found anything suitable for my very fair, pink toned skin in.

Clinique for me too, I am very pasty fair and they have had a few which suited me. I have very dry skin as well and never regularly wore a foundation until I found a nice light one from Clinique - which they discontinued Angry The replacement is more sparkly radiant apparently.

Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud has a makeup range with foundation for very pale skins called dainty doll - but only from Harrods I think. No idea whether or not it is any good though.

I used to use Shiseido which have some pale shades, but I now use mineral makeup from Barefaced Beauty www.barefacedbeauty.co.uk/detail.asp/c=1/sku=Mineral%20Foundation

The Serenity and Innocent shades are the palest makeup that I've come across (I use Gracious). You can get sample pots for £2.95, although you do need one of the kabuki brushes to get a good finish.

Dainty doll is in Boots and online too. Shade 2 perfect for me - red hair, pale skin and freckles but shade 1 is even lighter

i am pale too, and i used clinique amongst others but found they often looked too yelllow-ish. i now generally wear by by terry tinted moisturiser. it is the only thing i have found that is an acceptable colour. though beware- it is £££!!! but then, compared to the money i wasted in the past buying foundations that didn't really suit me, it is money well spent (at least, that is how i try and justify it to myself......)

Sisiedo! I am a ghost basically and their lightest shade is deathly which works for me

Illamasqua's palest shade is white and goes up gradually from there. Each shade level comes in 3 different tones too, yellow base, pink base and a balance of the two, so kind of neutral peachy tone. I personally don't rate the quality of Dainty Doll, but interested to see it mentioned often on here. Maybe it's improved since I tried it a few years ago.

Try Lilylolo porcelain mineral foundation. Much better for your skin and really, really pale.

I use the palest Maybelline and its very good.

Clarins in Ivory
Bobbi Brown in Alabaster or porcelain

some Clinique but I have had to change to Clarins as they discontinued pale shades.
