Returning a primer which caused me to break out?

Do you think Boots would let me return their new No 7 primer? I used it yesterday and this morning I had broke out in some bumps along my jaw line. The tube says hypoallergenic on it so I didn't expect to get this kind of reaction. I normally never get anything like that (only once I got this exact same thing after the Garnier BB cream) so it's definitely a reaction and not just "natural" skin problems IYKWIM.

I obviously don't want to use it now. Not sure I can say it's faulty, but then again it doesn't seem to live up to the hypoallergenic claims. I know they can't sell it now that I have broken the seal and used it but maybe they could just take it as a tester?

It's not much money but am a bit skint atm so would rather not just waste it.

I think they probably will refund it. I know Superdrug will with any of their own brand stuff so I'm sure boots will as well.

Oh good, it sounds hopeful then. I did get it on the 3 for 2 so maybe I can just swap it for something else from No 7.

I've taken sun creams back to Boots when they have given me an allergic reaction and never had any problems, so I am sure that they won't mind.
