Shoes for sweaty feet?

Hope someone out there can help. I have sweaty feet. Sweaty, smelly feet. During winter this doesn't cause any embarrassment really as my feet are encased in socks (which soak up the sweat) and boots. However spring, and my return to work after mat leave are approaching, and I'd love to get some nice flats or even - gasp - some heels that I could safely wear without socks/tights without my feet sweating horribly. Geox market 'breathable' soles and I was so excited, but nope, I was slipping around in them with sweaty feet too. Don't want to use super strong anti-perspirant (chemicals). Anyone have any recommendations? Husband has wonderfully dry feet, takes his socks off at the end of the day and they just smell of the leather of his shoes! TIA xx

I can't help with shoes but I use a spray Pitrok deodorant on my feet which somehow seems to make them sweat less as well as controlling odour. I would never wear shoes without socks though. Could you try insoles?

I have disgusting sweaty feet. I don't think what you want is possible sadly. Have you tried "footsies"? Tiny socks, even tinier than trainer liners. And lots of talc in your shoes and socks? My parents both do talc, we all have sweaty feet.

Oh, also my mum swears by shoes that are all leather, leather uppers, leather insoles and leather soles. Bit £££Shock though. Can you wear sandals to work?

I don't have this problem particularly but I've noticed that some shoes actually make my feet sweaty and Next is a big culprit for this, even their leather shoes.

All leather might be something to try, esp inside the shoe. For the sake of being a bit drier in the summer months, I'd defo go driclor or something, much as I wouldn't really want to use chemicals either.

Bah. I feared as much. I have tried talc (little puffs of 'smoke' escaping from shoes when I walk), and those footsies things (never seem to be cut low enough on the front to not be visible). I have worn sandals but I don't think it's a very professional look prude face Bah. Thanks everyone for your replies cx
