Help me find a leather bag that can be used as changing bag also.

I am really bored of carrying my changing bag around and would like to return to carrying a normal handbag. DD is now 15 months so I don't need to carry as much stuff around.
I've been looking for a good leather bag that has a couple of compartments so that I can easily find things, but have not had any luck.

Does anyone know of any leather handbags that double up as good changing bags also?

I use a leather satchel . A vintage one I got from eBay . Is that something you would interested in. I'll try and link to a similar one I saw the other day.

Mine is actually vintage . I don't like new stuff but these look very similar. If you look in their shop there are different styles.

Hi Bisch, thanks for the link. I've looked at a few satchels but not keen on the satchel style. Thank anyway. I'll keep looking.

storksak are brilliant. I have elizabeth in tan and get lots of compliments.

My very best one is a Kate spade changing bag though. Love it!

I use the Peony & Moore Lucia bag as a changing bag. It's a bit pricey, but great quality & will last for years.

Abirdinthehand · 07/01/2012 16:33

Well I ordered one, will let you know what it's like when it gets here!

I have a Lin & Leo changing bag, which is leather. Pricey, but they sell for a good 2nd hand price on EBay.

madammecholet · 07/01/2012 19:06

Friend of mine just bought a Pacapod - its amazing :), looks like a nice leather handbag but has these big compartment things for all your baby stuff.. v impressive.

CiderwithBuda · 07/01/2012 19:16

A friend of a friend is behind a brand called Mia Tui. I am beyond changing bags but know my friend likes these. No idea of cost!

sobenobu · 07/01/2012 19:58

IMO at 15 months you still need a huge bag to carry everything around but you've obviously gone past the changing bag stage.

I still carry wipes, spare knickers, tissues, small bottle of water, snacks, hand disinfectant etc. and usual handbag contents. My bag weighs a ton but it's the volume that gets me.

How about this from Timberland. It has a strap too.

blondieminx · 07/01/2012 23:59

Both Oasis and Topshop do large leather bags which I have used as handbag/changing bag hybrid!

I usually have the following:
mini change mat packed with nappies/wipes/nappy bags/hand sanitiser
beaker of drink
TT weaning pot filled with some sort of snack
spare outfit for refluxy DD
DD's favourite doll
Obv purse phone keys
bits for me: mini deoderant/perfume/handcream/lipbalm

Now I also take a novelty lunch bag this filled with stickers and small cars, wind up toys, gifts from the cbeebies magazine, sometimes crayons etc. Nicked the idea of a "busy box" (e.g. for when lunching out) from my bridesmaid who has 2 kids and is therefore more together than me further down the parenting continuum!
