Is it ever worth going to T and G or is it just the same result paying a fiver up the road?

£10 "just down the road" but they are really good and DC's love going there (and I don't have to pay for parking, which I would at any of the other options!)

DTSs and DD cost me £22 - which has always baffled me - 'cos doesn't that make one child's cut cost £7.33333333333333333333333 Confused

As DS has got older I've paid more. At 6, I'd have been paying about £6-10 at local barber or hairdresser.

Now he's 9, I pay between £10 and £15 (straight hair, longish cut). It's a local hairdresser but it fancies itself as a proper salon. I wouldn't let them loose on my hair though, oh, no. I like to go into the big town and pay £55 for a haircut Hmm

Well I had mine done last week for £42.50 Shock and I asked them how much to give my DD (5) a trim and was told £17 in the week and £25 at the weekend Shock

So she's going to have fiendishly long hair for a while longer while I find someone a bit more reasonable.

My hairdreser (£40 for me) charges £9 for DD. DD is 2 and has a bob - she was born with hair and it carried on growing!)

Don't mind paying as a great result and hairdresser excellent with children.

Depends on the cut - DD1 and 2 have shoulder length hair, no fringe, so anywhere cheap is fine as their haircuts are not challenging. DD3 has a cute little graduated bob so a couple of times I paid £20 at a smart hairdressers but now there is a kids' salon and one of the ladies is fab so I pay £12

I wouldnt pay T & G prices every time but I think a couple of times a year should be fine.
