Dry clean only?

I've just bought a jumper dress from Uniqlo. I love it but i didn't realise it was dry clean only when I ordered- I don't do dry clean only!

Have I got any alternatives? Hand wash? Cold machine wash? It's made of 45% Polyamide, 40% Viscose, 10% Wool, 5% Angora

Does your machine have a wool wash setting?
If yes, then i'd machine wash it with woolite/delicate liquid type detergent.
Then dry it flat.

I wash everything, dry clean only cashmere and silk etc and it's been fine.

Deffo washable. use cold or delicates setting.

I have a hand wash setting on my machine, and do all dry clean only things on that (and hand wash items). I haven't ruined anything yet.

cold machine wash inside out with woolite, gentle or no spin. Wash by itself or with other very delicate things so it's not damaged by anything else. You could wash it inside a pillow case to protect it more.

natasha I do cashmere and silk in the machine like this. Wash cashmere inside out to reduce risk of bobbling.

I have things that are dry clean only and will have them dry cleaned the first time.

After that I put in a pillow case on the delicate setting with delicate wash fluid and fabric conditioner.
I have had one disaster, that is why I dry clean once, that way at least I get two times to wear it.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm going to go for a cold machine wash with woolite and stick it in a pillowcase too.

Fingers crossed!
