Beauty products/ make-up safe to use in pregnancy

I am a bit of a product junkie and also newly pregnant. Does anyone know a good website that lists products that are safe/ unsafe to use in pregnancy? I know about retinol and salicylic acid but that's about it.

You can take this to the n-th degree. Retinol and salicyclic acid are the obvious ones to avoid. I would add to this perming / straightening products (brasillian blow dry etc).
My hairdresser warned me to stay away from anything that might give an allergic reaction and advised me from using any products I'd not used recently. She is an older lady, so maybe a bit traditional in her views. So although I continued to dye my hair, I stuck to the same shade and brand. You might well find that your skin reacts differently to things that used to be fine. If that is the case you could get aqueous cream free on prescription from the doctor. It makes great body/ face wash, moisturiser, make up remover, shaving gel, and conditioner. You can also use it as lube (though not with condoms), I was lucky and found that my skin was less greasy than normal and I could get away with using fewer products.

oh, and congratulations on your pregnancy! Roll on the glow!

All make up is okay isnt it? I was plastered with the stuff during 3 pregnancies. What do you think might happen?

Thanks Sprinkles. A friend mentioned certain things not being suitable and I panicked! I'm sure most things I use are fine.

Your friend is being illogical (I assume you live in the EU). Is she actually suggesting that post-partum you will return to slapping on your carcinogens?
