Sales of Smafolk and others like it

Hi

I have recently discovered Smafolk and other scandi childrens clothing. Now that ds is getting to an age where tshirts last more than a few months (he's 3), I have been thinking of getting a few bits.

However, I cannot find any sites with good sales on. I keep reading reviews - so I know they must happen - but cannot find any.

Can any of you help? Any favourite sites, and recommendations on sale timings?

Thanks in advance :)

My dd wears loads of Scandi stuff. I buy most of it from Nordic Kids - follow them on Facebook and they let you know discounts etc. eBay is always worth a look if you don't mind preloved clothes. The great thing about a lot of the Scandinavian brands is that they wash very well and last so long that it isn't an issue buying 2nd hand (Molo would be my exception to this rule - I love & still buy it but the colours tend to fade ime) The good resale values on eBay also make it more reasonable to spend that bit extra in the beginning. TKMaxx too apparently - I have friends who've got very good bargains there.

Love it, Love it, Love it usually have a good post Christmas sale. They sell Smafolk and Duns, which is similar.

Subscribe to Bambino Goodies on FB. They tend to post details of all the sales.

Thanks all. Following all those brands. Monkeysmama, happy to have pre-loved clothes. I sell on a few Boden pieces I have. Makes sense whent hey grow so quickly and, as you say, they are so well made. Interesting to know about Molo. Thanks :)

Check also Me Too and Ticket to Heaven. Sales on usually after the season is over.

These people also often have good sales on, I've had a lot of stuff from Katvig and Ej sikke lej (how on earth do you pronounce that?!) which survived dd1 and is now onto dd2.

Google 'Junior Style Sale' if you are London based. They have 4 or 5 sales a year, generally in Islington. I buy most of my kid's clothes there and usually comparatively cheap. They also have online sales. I do wish I had had a penny for each person I've suggested try there! I have 3 dds and the oldest is 5, so she is moving on clothes-wise (or perhaps I am!), and they have a lot of Mini-a-ture clothes that are usually half retail price. All these clothes have generally lasted my three dds, and will still be fine (if a little faded) for ds1 due in a month Also try po.p, great swedish brand, very durable, and if you buy in sales, reasonably priced.

Thanks all. I have been looking at the suggested websites. Haven't seen anything great for my ds son yet (but it is early days!)

Will keep looking. Sadly not in London imip :(

Sales that I've seen announced so far are
Juicytots.co.uk
Nordickids.co.uk
bebaboo.co.uk

All have some Smafolk in the sales.

Tootsie and Fudge sale is starting 26 December. It is generally quite good.
Think Love it, love it, love it will go that day as well.
