Should I send back this dress?

I wondered what people here would think. I bought a Great Plains dress from Coggles at the end of August. The stitching's now come apart at the front, and because it's in such a conspicuous place and because the fabric's wool, I can't repair it. I'd say I've worn it about 6 times or so at most since the weather was so hot in Sept and Oct, so I'm not very impressed by this. The Coggles website says that their time limit for faulty clothes is one month, but I really don't expect a good quality dress to fall apart in three months.

What do other people think? Is this seen as acceptable or not?

Thanks!

The Sale of Goods Act means that anything you buy has to be 'fit for purpose' so it's reasonable to assume that a dress should not be falling apart after three months. More details here but if you go back to the shop and quote your rights you should be able to get a refund or replacement.
